Montreal Exotic Rentals was born from a shared passion between two friends. Philippe, a tech entrepreneur and founder of InputKit, and Maxime, his partner in crime, wanted to create something different in the exotic car rental world in Montréal.
After years of admiring supercars at shows, on tracks, and on streets around the world, they decided to build their own collection. Not to impress, but to give fellow enthusiasts the experience they themselves dreamed of living.
Today, four of us run the house. Every vehicle is carefully chosen, meticulously maintained, and handed over with the same care as if we were lending it to a friend. That philosophy guides every booking.
The people behind the keys
Philippe Genois
Philippe has been a tech entrepreneur for over 14 years. Founder and CEO of InputKit, a Québec-based customer and employee experience platform, he built the company to more than 2000 clients across 15 countries, several millions in revenue, and appeared on Dragons' Den. A lifelong car enthusiast, he launched Montreal Exotic Rentals with Maxime to share his love of supercars with greater Montréal.
Maxime
Maxime is the co-founder of Montreal Exotic Rentals. With strong management experience, he owns several multi-unit properties and manages millions in budget across different projects. At MER, he runs operations, concierge, and the customer experience with a level of detail that sets the brand apart. He makes sure every vehicle handover is memorable.
Marianne
Marianne leads marketing. Content, social media and brand image: she is the one who makes sure the cars look as good on your screen as they do in real life. She also keeps our community alive between two bookings.
Danick
Danick is our multi-talent. Marketing, technology and day-to-day operations: he moves between all three without missing a beat. If something runs smoothly behind the scenes, chances are he built it.
15 to 20 dream cars
Our ambition is simple: build a fleet of 15 to 20 carefully selected dream cars, accessible to enthusiasts across greater Montréal. Not a big impersonal agency. A trusted house where every guest is welcomed like a friend.
