The best driving roads in Quebec are 90 minutes from downtown Montreal. Route 112 through the Eastern Townships, the Chemin du Lac in Mont-Tremblant, the winding routes of Charlevoix. Every one of them is better in a car that responds the way ours do.

Weekend rentals run Friday afternoon through Sunday evening with discounted three-day rates. The Audi R8 is our most-requested weekend vehicle. Its naturally aspirated V10 turns any road into an event. The BMW M4 and Audi S5 offer excellent performance and versatility for a weekend away.

Concierge delivery to your Montreal address or hotel is included. Same-return or drop at YUL for those flying out Sunday night.

Three favorite routes from Montreal

Head to Mont-Tremblant, about 1 h 30 via Route 15 North. Take exit 117 and continue on Chemin du Lac toward Saint-Faustin-Lac-Carré, then Route 323 North up to Nominingue for an 80 km loop through the Laurentians. Recommended stop: Le Diable in the Pedestrian Village. Weekend total: about 350 km, well within the 600 km allowance included in a Friday-Sunday package.

Head to the Eastern Townships, about 1 h 15 via Route 10 East. Route 112 between Granby and Magog is our favorite: light traffic, flowing corners, wineries for a break. Recommended loop: Magog to Orford, then Route 108 to Coaticook, back through Sherbrooke. About 400 km over the weekend.

Head to Charlevoix, about 4 hours via Route 40 East then Route 138 North past Quebec City. It is farther, but Route 362 between Baie-Saint-Paul and La Malbaie offers the best views in Quebec from behind a wheel. Plan an overnight stop. About 900 km round trip, with mileage overage to plan for ($3 CAD per extra kilometer at return).

The weekend package in detail

The weekend rate applies automatically when you select Friday 4:00 PM as pickup and Sunday 5:00 PM as return. It is a discounted three-day rate, equivalent to roughly three days at a reduced daily rate, not three times the daily rate.

The package includes 600 km of mileage allowance (200 km/day × 3 days), liability and damage insurance, concierge delivery within Greater Montreal, and phone support throughout the rental.

The pre-authorized security deposit on your credit card is placed in person Friday at pickup. It is released within 5 business days after Sunday return, provided the vehicle is returned clean, with a full tank, and undamaged.

How does weekend pricing work?+

Weekend packages run Friday to Sunday with a discounted three-day rate. Longer weekends (Thursday–Monday) and holiday weekends have custom pricing. Ask concierge for a quote.

Can I drive the car outside of Quebec?+

No. Vehicles must remain in Quebec at all times. Out-of-province or U.S. travel is not allowed.

What's the mileage allowance for a weekend rental?+

200 km per day per vehicle (600 km for a Friday–Sunday weekend). Each extra kilometer beyond the allowance is charged $3 CAD at return.

Which car is best for a weekend in Mont-Tremblant or the Townships?+

The Audi R8 for pure driving on Route 112 or the Charlevoix loops, the BMW M4 for an excellent sport / comfort balance, and the Audi S5 for a refined weekend with luggage. All three handle Quebec highways comfortably.
