Renting a Lamborghini in Montreal is simpler than it seems, but two models dominate the local market and they serve very different needs. Here's an honest guide to choosing between the Huracán Spyder and the Urus, with real prices, requirements, and pitfalls to avoid.

Huracán Spyder: the pure supercar

Naturally aspirated 5.2 L V10, 610 hp, all-wheel drive, retractable roof in 17 seconds up to 50 km/h. The V10 sound is legendary, especially in Sport or Corsa mode with the top down. This is the car for a wedding, a milestone birthday, or a photo shoot. Rate: $1,600 + tax per day in Montreal, weekend package (Fri 4 PM → Sun 5 PM) $4,000 + tax.

Urus: versatile performance

4.0 L twin-turbo V8, 650 hp, 5 seats, usable trunk. Same DNA as the Huracán but with the ground clearance and space of an SUV. It's the number-one pick for a Tremblant weekend or the Eastern Townships. Rate: $1,100 + tax per day, weekend package $2,500 + tax (bookable from September 1, 2026).

What the daily rate actually includes

At Montreal Exotic Rentals, every rental includes liability and damage coverage ($50/booking, or $50 off with valid personal insurance), 200 km per day, and concierge delivery in Greater Montreal. Additional fees: YUL delivery $100, extra mileage $3 CAD/km at return.

The security deposit

On a Huracán, expect a pre-authorized deposit of $7,500 on your credit card, in person on pickup day. On the Urus, the amount is confirmed at booking. The hold is released within 5 business days after return, absent any claim. A credit card in your name with sufficient limit is required.

Driver requirements

Minimum 25 years old, valid license, biometric verification within 24 hours of online payment. Foreign licenses are accepted (see our dedicated article). For the Huracán, a clean driving record is verified.
