Toronto is Canada's largest car market, yet exotic rental supply is thin and dominated by peer-to-peer platforms. Here is how to navigate it, what it actually costs, and where to drive once you have the keys.
What it costs in Toronto
Our GTA fleet is two black-on-black vehicles. The Porsche 718 Cayman GTS 2018 is $450 CAD per day and $850 CAD for a weekend, with a $2,500 deposit. The Audi S8 2019 is $550 CAD per day and $1,050 CAD for a weekend, with a $3,000 deposit.
Insurance is included in both rates, along with 200 km per day. Extra kilometers are $3 CAD each. Provide your own valid exotic-car insurance and $50 comes off the price.
The requirements
You must be 25 or older with a valid license: Ontario class G, another Canadian province, or an international license with a translation.
Biometric identity verification happens online before handoff: license front and back plus a selfie, about two minutes on your phone.
The deposit pre-authorization is placed in person on pickup day, never at booking, and is released within 5 business days after return.
Where handoff happens
Downtown: Financial District, Yorkville, King West, Liberty Village, Distillery District. We meet you at your condo, hotel, or office.
Airports: Pearson (YYZ) for scheduled flights, Billy Bishop (YTZ) for Porter and private aviation. Send your flight number and we adjust to the actual landing time.
Suburbs: Mississauga, Vaughan, Markham, Richmond Hill, Oakville, Burlington.
The best driving roads in the GTA
Muskoka: Highway 400 north to Port Carling, then the Lake Rosseau roads. Roughly 400 km round trip, ideal for a 2-day package in the Cayman GTS.
Niagara: the QEW to Niagara-on-the-Lake, then the Niagara Parkway. About 260 km round trip. The S8 is the better pick here.
Blue Mountain and the Beaver Valley: 150 km north-west, the best twisty roads in southern Ontario.
Prince Edward County: 250 km each way, best planned over three days to stay inside the mileage allowance.
Peer-to-peer platform or agency
On a peer-to-peer platform you are renting an individual's car. Maintenance, cleanliness, and handoff reliability depend entirely on that owner, and last-minute cancellations are common in peak season.

When to book
Two to three weeks ahead for a summer weekend. Each Toronto vehicle is a single unit, so long weekends, TIFF, and Caribana go early. Weekdays can often be confirmed within 48 hours.
