A Mont-Tremblant weekend in a Lamborghini Urus: itinerary, stops, restaurants
The Montreal-Tremblant drive takes 1h30 via highway 15 north, but that's not what we recommend to our Urus clients. Here's the long itinerary we suggest, with the best stops and restaurants, to turn a simple mountain trip into a real outing.
Friday afternoon: the departure
Urus delivery to your home or office around 3 PM. Leave Montreal via highway 15, then exit 89 toward Sainte-Adèle. From there, abandon the highway for route 117 north. Slower but far more scenic. Count 2h30 instead of 1h30, but the experience is a different animal.
Stop 1: Val-David
Small village 45 minutes out of the city. Café Mouton Noir for an espresso break, or La Chapelle for a natural wine glass. Parking is easy and locals are used to beautiful cars.
Stop 2: Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts
Skirt Lac des Sables. Route 329 offers some good corners before pushing north. If appetite hits, La Rôtisserie au Petit Poucet has been serving honest Quebecois cooking since 1945.
Arrival: Tremblant village
In Tremblant, the Petit-Manitou parking lot (P1) is closest to the pedestrian village. Valet available at Le Westin, Fairmont, and Homewood Suites. The Urus draws looks; staff is used to it and parking is secure.
Where to have dinner
Sn'Eatery (fine American cuisine, mountain vibe). Restaurant Seb l'Artisan Culinaire in Saint-Jovite (10 min from the village, creative tasting menus). La Forge in the village for a steak after a ski or hiking day.
Saturday: Mont-Blanc and Lac Supérieur detour
Take chemin du Lac-Supérieur from Tremblant. 30 km of perfect road for a powerful SUV: wide corners, long straights, very little traffic. Loop up to Mont-Tremblant national park, return via Saint-Faustin-Lac-Carré.
Sunday: slow return
Leave Tremblant early around 10 AM. Route 117 south with a brunch stop in Sainte-Adèle (Chocolaterie La Sablonnière or Restaurant Le Bistro à Champlain in Sainte-Marguerite). Back in Montreal around 3 PM. Our team picks up the Urus at your address.
